SEND ME A CLOSE-UP OF YOUR ANIMAL

You send me an image of your beloved animal - preferably one that is recent, close-up and looking at the camera. I use this to connect telepathically.

DEPOSIT + CONTRACT + SCHEDULING

We schedule a date for the photo session after I've received your deposit (50% of fee) and signed contract.
Payment can be made via my website or by check.

TELEPATHY SESSION

 I'll try connecting with your animal companion from a distance
to request a message for you, as well as share with your animal about the upcoming photo session.

AFTER THE TELEPATHY SESSION

I get in touch to share with you what I received when connecting with your animal companion.

PREP FOR PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

We discuss location, timing, lighting and ideas of ways that you'd like to be together. We'll include any suggestions from your animal. Snapshots of the spots we might use for the session are very helpful.

PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

We allow at least two to three hours for the photo session so we can be relaxed and take our time.
For doggies: Before I arrive, make sure they've had a potty break! Have some favourite treats available just in case.
For kitties: Make sure those cats that like to hide or go outside are available!

PAYMENT DUE + CONTACT SHEETS

The local professional lab processes the film. I'll email you the invoice for the balance. Once payment is received, I'll mail your contact sheets to you along with a print order form. You can use the form to list your favourite images and then decide which you'd like to order at the print ordering session.

PRINT ORDERING SESSION

A session at my studio to have help ordering photographs is complimentary for 45 days after the session.
Presentation options can be viewed and ordered as well. Allow 4-6 weeks for your photographs to be printed. See below for details of the process.

PHOTOGRAPHS + MESSAGE = ART PIECE

Your chosen images will be printed in my darkroom on fiber gelatin silver paper.
Your message will either be typeset in your chosen font or done by hand with calligraphy.
The final art pieces are handed over to you to cherish.

• Each black and white photograph is hand-printed in the darkroom using an optical enlarger.
• The blank fiber paper goes in an easel and is exposed to light for a timed exposure.
• Then it goes into the developer tray where an image emerges during agitation. It's cool!
• Then the print goes into the stop and fixer and wash.
• This process is repeated with multiple pieces of paper to get the desired contrast and values.
• At the end of the printing day, all prints are cleared and go into the final longer wash.
• The photographs are squeegeed and put onto a screen to air-dry overnight.
• A brief time in a hot press flattens the paper.
• Hand trimming and spotting is done as needed.
